GuildMestar Update 0.1.1.0


Hello GuildMestars,

Today marks the release of version 0.1.1.0 and brings with it some interesting changes that can be found below. A quick overview will see you continuing the story of Phern, finding some new threats and allies, and exploring new locations and events. Everything included in this update is included in the demo version of GuildMestar which is available for free on the main itch page.

A lot of changes and new additions are included in this update so if you'd like to give any feedback or report a bug you can do so on our discord.

New:

- Major -

• Reworked Remembrance. Remembrances are now removed from the deck on discard. The remembrance mechanic was put in place to punish deaths on both sides of a combat. This turned out to be more annoying than punishing and led to longer combat times without interacting with the game.

• Adjusted dungeon generation. Dungeon generation has been changed to help facilitate more interesting layouts as well as location specific events occurring. This change was rather large and brings with it a host of new events, sub events, and event options to explore.

• Story continuation. Seems that messenger finally arrived and brings news on the wanted criminal's location. Will you be able to catch them? and if so, what do you do with them?

• New enemies and some alternate allies have arrived.

 - Minor -

• Starting a new game starts you in the afternoon now rather than the morning, this is to prevent confusion when the quest asks you to send out a party but it is morning. Because of this new games starting adventurers will no longer have the Morning Person trait.

• Added "fire" tag to the torch. This will only effect new items.

• Found a good adventurer but don't like their name? You can now rename any adventurer in their info panel!

• Updated location names.

• Changed how dungeons scale the number of rooms per difficulty. Higher tier dungeons will now have more rooms.

• Adjusted combat hand display from improved visibility.

• Adjusted npc rating system for items to properly account for non action block target targeting.

Bugs:

• Character's hitbox now properly align with their flipped variants.

• Merchant's shop now properly refreshes each week.

• Character's available skill points now hides when reduced to 0.

• Adjusted the band of adventurers sub event as it was spawning too frequently.

• Multiple activations in a single combat of the same mechanic with an activation type of "Repeating" now no longer sometimes loses its effect
