GuildMestar Update 0.1.3.0 - Construction Part 2

Hello GuildMestars,

After more time than I originally intended but with all of and more of the fun features I present Update 0.1.3.0 aka Construction Part 2! In this update we see Construction get some more complex additions as well as a couple major changes to items and how they function.

While this did take longer than originally anticipated I am quite happy with the results. The new changes to items, such as a durability system, make outfitting your adventurers feel more realistic and less punishing should you need to abscond your exploration early. As a personal favorite feature a new weapon type has entered the pool to help show off multi slot items. Glaives are a more utilitarian tool to the mindful adventurer, while not providing the raw damage of a Sword or Axe their armor removing properties are just the thing to take on heavy slow targets.

And of course who can forget the new Constructions available. These have been lightly touched on in the patch notes below but I can assure you we are cooking up something hot. Forged just for the keen eyed buyer who loves to watch their investments passively improve.

Feel free to checkout the new free update by downloading version 0.1.3.0 from the main page!

Version: 0.1.3.0

New:

- Major -

• Item now have durability! No longer do items disappear into the void after each exploration. Adventurers will maintain items and after each expedition (successful or otherwise) their durability will decrease by 1. Upon reaching 0 the item will lose access to all its stats and mechanics, but remain equipped. At this point, depending on purchased construction upgrades, the player can trade to replace the item, scrap it entirely, or repair it.

• Scrap and Upgrades! Players can now scrap items with 0 remaining durability (once the appropriate construction has been completed) to build more complex projects.

     • Some but not all include: expanded ingredients for cooking, upholstered counters for trading bonuses, more tools for your newest NPC, and more!

• New NPC! If items have durability, does that not mean that they can be reforged? Surely there is someone out there handy enough to mend them...

• Glaives.

• Items can now take up multiple slots. Staves now use both the left and the right hand slot by default, Glaives have been added using the same slots.

• Characters have figured out how to walk. Tired of your adventurers waiting for you to drag them around? Well wait no longer. Using a new node style pathing system adventurers and NPCs alike will wander around the guildhall while you manage it. Worry not however your available adventurers will not leave the main hall allowing easy access to potential explorers.

- Minor -

• Several Panels have been overhauled to be more intuitive. Panels containing sub panels now better indicate that they do

• In addition to the above change, sorting is now visually different. Multi slot sorting has been disabled due to this but overall the functionality works better and more like you would think by selecting the buttons

• Days in which construction projects are completed are now play a unique sound

• Update display for Renown, Gold, and Scrap in Stockpile

• Adjusted how Button SFX plays to bring it inline with other SFX

Bugs:

• Switching from a construction with displayed sub constructions using a room tab now properly hides transparent sub constructions

• Purchasing a core construction upgrade will now properly display window color that time phase

• Fixed an issue causing multi-step quests like "Surveying the Locals" to not properly display their completion progress

• Fixed an issue causing the "Junk Horde" capstone to not display its first description block
